Cartes de Visite von berühmten Personen wurden auch gerne gekauft und gesammelt, vor allem von Perönlichkeiten aus den Königshäusern, Politiker, Wissenschaftler oder Kunstschaffende. Schon damals wurden Viele davon illegal kopiert und verbreitet.
Die originalen Cartes de Visite werden heute zu Höchstpreisen gesammelt.

Cartes de Visite of famous people were also popular purchases and collectibles, especially those of royalty, politicians, scientists, and artists. Even back then, many of them were illegally copied and distributed.
Today, original cartes de visite are collected at high prices.
